Player of the Year Nominees Released

The PGA Tour has officially released it's list of five players that have made the ballot for the 2011 Player of the Year award.

All players that make the list must have had competed in at least 15 official PGA Tour money events and are voted on by the peers -- The PGA Tour players themselves.

The week of December 12th is when the winner of the Jack Nicklaus trophy will be officially announced.

Here are the five players that have made the ballot and their accomplishments during the 2011 PGA Tour season.

Keegan Bradley
28 events | 18 cuts made | Two wins | Four top-10's | 12 top-25's | Won the PGA Championship

Luke Donald
19 events | 17 cuts made | Two wins | Two runner-ups | Two third place finishes | 14 top-10's | 16 top-25's | Won 2011 Money Title

Now that the five players have been named to the ballot for the 2011 PGA Tour Player of the Year. Who would you cast your vote for?

Would you go with a guy that has two wins with a major?

Or, would you go with a consistent player that was always near the top of the leader boards all season long?

When you look at the accomplishments for all five of these players -- It certainly is no easy choice to make.
