Who to watch at the Wells Fargo Championship

The PGA Tour heads from the 'Big Easy' to Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2012, Wells Fargo Championship. Hosted by Quail Hollow.

Last season saw the 7,469 yard Quail Hollow Club score, average under par for the first time in nine years.

The signature stretch of holes covering No. 16, 17 and 18, known as 'The Green Mile', played just 0.777 strokes over par.

Fairways are at a premium at this event. In 2011, the field averaged just 47.64 percent. Ranking it third lowest of any event, last season on the PGA Tour.

Ernie Els, feeling like old self after New Orleans

At the age of 42, you would think professional golfers would start to slow down a bit. Or begin to feel that their game is starting to perhaps trend downwards from their earlier years on Tour.

Ernie Else happens to think his game is actually starting to feel like his old self, after a playoff loss to Jason Dufner on Sunday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

The 'Big Easy' was making a charge in the Big Easy in Sunday's final round. Forcing the event to go to extra holes.

Obviously, Dufner would capture the win, for his first on the PGA Tour.

Reaction to Tiger Woods 'Fan Presser'

Tiger Woods recently announced that he would forgo his usual media press conference at the upcoming Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. And instead, field questions via video on his website, from his fans.

For whatever reason, he caught a lot of flack over this from many of the mainstream media outlets.

I have no reason why that is either.
